New Study for Women with Ductal Carcinoma In Situ (DCIS)
St. John's Mercy Medical Center is conducting a study for women with ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS), a non-invasive form of breast cancer. This study will examine the effects of adding two doses of trastuzumab (also called Herceptin®) to breast radiation therapy. Radiation therapy after surgery is the standard treatment for patients with DCIS.
If you would like more information about this study, please call the study coordinator at 314-251-7160 (David C. Pratt Cancer Center) or 314-983-4921 (St. Louis Cancer and Breast Institute) or ask your oncologist. |
